Speech\-Language Pathologist

Our clinic prioritizes work\-life balance, so we offer a 4 day schedule (Monday\-Thursday) for a competitive rate.
PART TIME OR FULL TIME
Working hours: 32 hours; Monday to Thursday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., with a 30\-minute paid lunch break

Responsibilities:
Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, or swallowing difficulties.*
Develop and implement effective, individualized treatment programs.*
Provide counseling to patients and patients’ families about results of testing and recommended treatment options.*
Be a strong advocate for all clients to best support their needs.*
Establish patient understanding, expectations, and goals for treatment.*
Create accurate documentation and reporting for all patient visits.*
Refer patients to medical specialists in dentistry, psychology, or other related fields.*
Complete authorization reports in a timely manner.*
Requirements:
A Master's Degree in Speech\-Language Pathology from an educational institution approved by the Board of Speech\-Language Pathology, passage of a Board\-approved examination*
Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) \- issued by the state of California*
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification*
Fingerprint background clearance*
Tuberculosis (TB) clearance*
Certificate of clinical competence in speech pathology awarded by the American Speech and Hearing Association*
Or
RPE license*
Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred due to diverse client base.
