The Perna Team closes 800\+ transactions a year across Metro Detroit with 110 agents, dedicated admin staff, and integrated title and mortgage services. We need a senior\-level Transaction Coordinator who's done this before — someone who can manage files without anyone holding their hand. We don't micro manage, and only hire top tier talent.

This isn't a "learn as you go" role. This is a role for someone who already knows what a clean file looks like, can spot a problem three weeks before closing, and doesn't need to be told to follow up.

What You'll Own

  • The entire contract\-to\-close process for buyer and seller transactions — from executed purchase agreement through recording
  • Proactive deadline management across inspections, appraisals, title, financing contingencies, and HOA documents
  • Direct communication with agents, clients, lenders, title companies, and attorneys — you're the hub that keeps every deal moving
  • Compliance review on every file before it hits the closing table
  • Escalation and resolution of issues before they become emergencies (because you've seen them all before)
  • Real\-time updates in our CRM and transaction management systems so nothing is a mystery to anyone on the team
  • What You Bring

    Must\-haves:

  • 5\+ years as a Transaction Coordinator or Closing Coordinator in residential real estate — OR 500\+ closed transactions
  • Proven experience managing high\-volume pipelines
  • Proficiency with transaction management platforms
  • Working knowledge of CRMs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you know how to keep agents \& clients calm and lenders accountable
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Nice\-to\-haves:

  • Michigan real estate experience or familiarity with Michigan purchase agreements and closing processes
  • Real estate license (not required)
  • Experience supporting large teams (50\+ agents)
