- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Three (3\) years of Immigrant Visa processing experience, specifically within units such as Written Correspondence, Document Review, Case Resolution, or Congressional Inquiry
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications to include Outlook, Teams, Excel, Adobe and Word
- Must pass a computer\-based skills assessment with a minimum passing score of 80% and pass the final assessment for the CSPA training class
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability Determination
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to closely follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to readily adapt to changing environments
- Strong ability to perform and produce at the highest level of quality
- Ability to effectively manage workflow
- Ability to efficiently handle routine clerical duties and working for prolonged periods at a computer workstation
- Manual dexterity in the use of word processing equipment
- Good hand to eye coordination
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, standing, sitting, reaching, twisting and reading
- Ability to work in one place and transverse the office on a continuing basis
- Ability to lift and transport up to 45 lbs. and push large carts
- You will primarily work in an office environment but may be required to work in other work environments as well.
Job Summary:
This position requires some subject\-matter knowledge and judgment to complete assignments consisting of numerous steps varying in nature and sequence. The General Clerk III selects from alternative methods and refers problems not solvable by adapting or interpreting substantive guides, manuals, or procedures. You must live within 90 miles of the National Visa Center in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in order to be considered.

You must be a U.S. citizen to be considered. Additionally, you must successfully complete a credit and criminal background check and have the ability to obtain a SECRET\-level federal security clearance. You must also live within a 90\-mile radius of the National Visa Center in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
