Responsibilities:
\- Provide instruction and guidance to students in our Hybrid Medical Assistant Program.
\-Present hands on instruction in our campus laboratory.
\- Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure effective delivery of educational content
\- Assist in the evaluation of student performance and provide feedback for improvement
\- Support administrative tasks related to the educational program, such as documentation review and record keeping
Experience:
\- Three years of Medical Assistant work experience
\- Experience in phlebotomy, immunizations, venipuncture, injections, pharmacology, EKG, wound care, GYN procedures, vitals signs, medical coding, dosage calculations.
\- Pediatric experience
\- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
\- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
\-Must have basic computer skills and Microsoft Office experience
\-Proficient in various medical office procedures
\-Previous teaching experience is desired
\-Orthopedic and cardiology experience is a plus
