*Sweet Cut Grow is hiring Cultivation \& Post Harvest Techs to start in April/May 2026\.*
Sweet Cut Grow is a fully licensed (four class C) recreational cannabis facility in Kalamazoo, Michigan. We are hiring cultivation and harvest technicians to assist the management in carrying out all tasks including harvesting, moisture data collection, bucking, running the Twister T2 mechanized trim line, curing, final packaging, cloning, genetics maintenance, transplanting, pruning, defoliation and IPM.

*Core Responsibilities:*
For Post\-Harvest, this includes harvesting and sectioning, moisture data analysis, mechanized and hand trimming, sorting, curing, pre\-roll manufacturing, final packaging and order picking. For Cultivation, this encompasses cloning, mother maintenance and genetics preservation, seed germination, phenotype selection, pruning, transplanting, defoliating, IPM.
\-\- Cleaning and IPM
All employees will apply sanitizers using a hydraulic sprayer or fogger, along with scrubbing and sanitization of totes, bins, racks, walls and floors. As part of our Integrated Pest Management program, all employees will be required to wear scrubs and work shoes at all times while in "clean" sections of the facility. No cigarette smoking will be permitted during work (and is a violation of state law on our premises).
\-\- Tagging and Tracking
All technicians and leads will assist in tracking and documenting plant weights and packages using Metrc and Flourish software. Techs will assist with keeping all harvest plants compliantly tagged, tracked and weighed, and assist with regular audits using our mobile workstations. Basic experience with Windows and the Office suite, as well as typing proficiency (30 words per minute) is required.
\-\- Safety
Sweet Cut follows all applicable state and federal laws pertaining to employee safety, including all OSHA regulations. Employees must uphold all safety practices contained in the standard operating procedures, and be able to wear the provided Personal Protective Equipment, including respirator masks, safety goggles, fall arrest harnesses, and spray suits.
Required Experience and Skills:
\-\- Applicants should be able to hand trim 2 pounds/day. A college degree is a plus.
\-\- The Post\-Harvest and Cultivation Tech roles are entry level positions, and no professional experience is required. However, all applicants must be able to meet production KPIs within 90 days, and be on their feet for a 10 hour day. All applicants also must be able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds, while sitting, standing, and kneeling.
\-\- Applicants are expected to have basic PC literacy and be able to use Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as being able to type.
\-\- Must be able to speak and write English fluently, implement feedback from supervisors and work collectively and efficiently with other team members.
\-\- Post\-Harvest techs will be expected to use sharp tools and do fine pruning tasks, thus good motor skills are essential.
Additional Requirements:
\-\- All applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
\-\-Overtime and weekends based on company needs.
\-\-Comfortable working in hot and cold environments.
\-\- Must be able to pass a background check to work in a licensed cannabis facility (i.e. no drug felonies).
\-\- No drug use will be permitted during the workday.
