- Assist with patient observation and documentation of care activities using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems or Medical Records management tools.
- Support caregivers with scheduling, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports related to patient care and agency operations.
- Facilitate communication between clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including laundry and light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Assist with open visits by providing direct care to clients in their homes.
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care is essential.
- Certification in CPR is required; additional certifications such as hospice care or hospice support are advantageous.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) or EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems for documentation purposes.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
