We are seeking a dependable, detail\-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant whose primary responsibility will be managing front desk operations, including answering phones, handling website inquiries, and scheduling client appointments.
This is not a paralegal role. The position is heavily focused on client communication, intake, and administrative support. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, organization, and the ability to manage a high volume of calls and inquiries with professionalism and efficiency. Consistent follow\-up and proactive task management are critical to success in this position.
Primary Responsibilities (Core Focus):
- Answering and managing a high volume of incoming phone calls
- Screening calls, gathering initial client information, and directing inquiries appropriately
- Responding to website leads and client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Scheduling consultations and maintaining attorney calendars
- Serving as the first point of contact for prospective and existing clients
- Tracking open tasks, setting reminders, and ensuring all client communications and leads are followed up on promptly
- Greeting clients and managing front desk operations
- Data entry and file management (digital and paper)
- Supporting attorneys and paralegals with administrative tasks (non\-substantive)
- Preparing and formatting basic correspondence and documents
- Document copying, scanning, assembly, and organization
- Witnessing client signatures (as applicable)
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of common areas
- Prior office experience required; law firm experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls throughout the day
- Excellent follow\-up skills with the ability to track, prioritize, and complete tasks without things falling through the cracks
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
- Professional, client\-focused demeanor with a positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and adaptable
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license and current insurance
- Notary Public (preferred) or willingness to obtain certification
- Full\-time, Monday–Friday
- 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On\-site in Erie, Colorado (remote work not available)
