Position Summary
The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring accurate invoicing, timely collections, and maintenance of customer accounts. This role contributes to cash flow management and supports overall financial accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Invoicing and Billing: Prepare and send invoices to clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Payment Processing: Track and process incoming payments, verifying and posting receipts to the appropriate accounts and/or advising Finance to apply payments.
* Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable transactions to ensure all payments are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
* Customer Communication: Communicate with customers regarding outstanding payments, payment plans, and any disputes that may arise.
* Customer Maintenance: Maintain accurate customer records and credit information.
* Reporting: Analyze aging reports to monitor overdue accounts and implement collection strategies as needed.
The salary range is $42,000 \- $52,000 annually. Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2\+ years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience
- Strong understanding of invoicing, collections, and payment processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment
