Job Overview

Weinstock Manion is seeking a detail\-oriented, organized, and efficient Accounting Specialist to join our Finance Team. with strong attention to detail and broad accounting experience to join our Finance Team. This full\-time, mid\-level role offers opportunities for growth and professional development within a collaborative law firm environment.

Please note: This is a fully onsite position. Hybrid or remote work arrangements are not available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and record incoming payments, including checks, credit cards, ACH/wires, and Stripe transactions
  • Handle daily deposits and ensure accurate application of client payments
  • Review, verify, and enter vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and client cost transactions
  • Perform general ledger coding and maintain accurate financial records
  • Execute weekly check runs and ACH/wire payment batches
  • Maintain up\-to\-date vendor records and W\-9 documentation
  • Create and update client and vendor accounts, including performing conflict checks
  • Reconcile credit card and bank statements; identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Respond to client and vendor inquiries related to invoices and payments
  • Support 1099 year\-end reporting and tax documentation
  • Assist with scanning, data entry, and organization of financial records (digital and paper)
  • Provide general support to the finance, billing, and administrative teams as needed
  • Required Experience \& Qualifications

  • 3\-5 years of recent experience in a similar accounting role (AP/AR required)
  • Prior law firm experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with conflict checks and billing/accounting platforms (Coyote Analytics expierence a plus)
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and general data management systems
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate sound judgment
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Associate's or bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
  • Job Type: Full\-time

    Pay: $70,000\.00 \- $85,000\.00 per year
