Position Summary
We are seeking a detail\-oriented and efficient Remote Typist to support document creation, data entry, and transcription tasks. This role is responsible for accurately converting information from various sources into digital formats while maintaining high standards of quality, confidentiality, and productivity. The ideal candidate has strong typing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Type and format documents, reports, and correspondence from written, audio, or digital sources.
- Perform accurate data entry into systems, spreadsheets, and databases.
- Proofread and edit documents for grammar, spelling, and formatting errors.
- Transcribe audio recordings into written text (if applicable).
- Maintain organized digital files and records.
- Follow formatting guidelines and company standards.
- Meet daily or weekly productivity and accuracy targets.
- Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven typing speed of 45–70\+ words per minute (WPM).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with word processing tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Reliable internet connection and remote workspace.
- Prior experience in typing, data entry, or transcription.
- Familiarity with document formatting and editing.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Word or Google Docs.
- Knowledge of transcription tools or software.
