We are hiring a Bilingual Immigration Intake Specialist to support the front\-line communication of a U.S.\-based immigration law firm. This is a remote position ideal for someone with call center or client service experience, who also has a solid understanding of U.S. immigration law, especially humanitarian relief cases.
What You’ll Do:
- Answer incoming calls, messages, and online inquiries from potential and existing clients.
- Ask basic screening questions to understand the nature of the client’s immigration issue.
- Identify if the case relates to family petitions, VAWA, Visa T, Visa U, or deportation defense, and route appropriately.
- Accurately document all conversations and client data in CRM.
- Support clients with scheduling, follow\-ups, and sending information requested by the legal team.
- Communicate clearly and with empathy, especially with clients going through sensitive or urgent situations.
- Work closely with the legal team to ensure smooth handoff and tracking of leads.
- Must be familiar with humanitarian immigration relief: VAWA, Visa T, Visa U, family\-based petitions, and deportation defense.
- Strong communication skills, detail\-oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
- Comfortable handling high call volume and organizing follow\-up steps.
- Previous experience in a call center or virtual receptionist role for a law firm.
Requirements:
* 1\+ year of experience working at an immigration law firm or in a related legal support role.
* Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
* At least 1 year of experience using MyCase (or similar legal case management software).
