- Compensation: (candidates with significant related experience may be higher and pay also depends on candidates location)
- WI range: $17\.85 \- $19\.95 per hour
- MN range: $20\.50\- $23\.00 per hour

- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be bondable
- Occasional travel required within Royal’s geographic footprint
- Working knowledge of financial services and basic accounting principles; ability to produce accurate, high\-quality data entry and documentation.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities, interviewing and listening skills, and a strong customer service mindset.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently under multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
- Adept at analytical and critical thinking, resolving recurring problems, and making decisions related to complex daily work.
- Ability to multitask, manage interruptions, function in high\-volume settings, work independently with minimal supervision, and collaborate within a team.
- Experience working for a financial or Home Loan Department
- Full\-Time, working approximately 40 hours per week.
- Hours and shifts vary between 8:30am \- 5:00pm Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed.
- This position is part of Royal's workplace flexibility program and has the ability to be hybrid after approximately 2\-3 months of training and proficiency in the position.
- When not working remote, the office location is flexible at either the Corporate Office in Eau Claire, WI, or at a Royal Minnesota office based on office availability and candidate preference.
- This position requires residency within Royal’s office footprint
- Prior to starting a normal work schedule, new Royal team members must attend Foundation Training at our Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am \- 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during their first week of employment. Out\-of\-town learners will be reimbursed costs related to travel and lodging.
- Foundation Training covers fundamental information about Royal’s culture and core values which sets the stage for team members to be successful within our organization.
What You’ll Do:
The Mortgage Processing Assistant role will provide clerical support for mortgage loan processing and originating activities. Provide exceptional experience to our clients, Members, and team members with every interaction. Obtain and verify documents needed for loan processing and originating. Order necessary services for mortgage loans and complete final steps before closing.
