QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) in Desktop Infrastructure preferred.
- Ivanti Admin Certification and Google Admin Certification are preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in supporting and installing computer hardware and peripherals.
- Experience in the support of PC software products in a wide variety of applications including Windows 10, MS Office, Office 365, AutoCAD, and Adobe.
- Expert\-level experience with Ivanti Endpoint Manager, Workspace One, VMWare, Google Admin Console, Microsoft System Configuration Center, and Group Policies, Adobe Management Console, Firewall, Cybersecurity, and Software Patching preferred.
- Prepares base images: for existing and new equipment for distribution.
- Designs and builds software packages needed for pushing to devices.
- Assists with the implementation of network, local, and cloud applications.
- Designs and makes recommendations and documents plans for delivery of network applications using Ivanti, Google Admin Console, Workspace One, or other Application delivery tools and systems.
- Documents the design of each image as to versions of software, pieces of software, and special settings necessary for input, and output devices for each model of hardware.
- Assists with internal support training for Help Desk Analysts, Technology Service Technicians, District Contractors, and Media Specialists.
- Deploys and manages desktops and mobile devices that provide access to district portal, desktop virtualization, remote desktop services, and application virtualization.
- Provides problem determination and problem resolution in response to district software application issues.
- Assists in the support of technology applications at school sites when necessary.
- Interfaces with cross\-functional team members to facilitate the installation of necessary software on existing Local Area Networks and Wireless Networks.
- Serves as a resource person for administrative or instructional personnel/students engaged in specialized computer hardware intensive projects.
- Documents and tests the design of drivers and software needed for common images.
- Prepares instructions necessary to facilitate easy distribution of software and hardware installations by designated personnel.
- Performs testing on new device requests to ensure compatibility with current systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Prepares software packages and images for existing and new equipment for distribution.
- Patching and vulnerability management and compliance with CFISD’s Cybersecurity processes and protocols. Review vulnerabilities and align their reduction through ongoing patching initiatives and working with product leaders and patch owners on rolling out patches and vulnerability remediation.
- Provides outstanding customer service.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Probationary/Term Contract: 250 days
SALARY:
$80,277 (IA\-7\)
Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees
