Role Description

This is a *full\-time

• role for an Information Technology Technician, Tier 1 Helpdesk / Summer Intern at Fortress Telecom in Beech Creek, PA beginning May 1st and running through August 30th with the potential for a permanent role with the company. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, providing technical support, delivering customer service, and conducting training sessions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills
• Knowledge of Information Technology
• Ability to empathize with clientele
• Excellent problem\-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Certifications in relevant IT fields are a plus including:
*BICSI
• ,
*Microsoft MS900/AB\-900/MD\-102*, *OSHA 10hr.*

• Must have basic familiarity with
*Microsoft Entra Admin*/Team/Sharepoint/Defender/InTune and Purview
• Experience with network troubleshooting including routers, firewalls, switches, VLANs and wireless access points preferred
• Preferred experience with Ubiquiti networking equipment and Yealink phones.
• Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs. unassisted and work in confined spaces
• Must be able to climb stairs
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, overnight and weekends, as required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record, background check and drug test may be required upon employment.
