Senior Tax Resolution Strategist (Attorney / EA / CPA)

Job Overview

TaxShield is seeking a high\-level tax resolution professional to support internal case strategy, file review, and resolution positioning as we scale.

This role is designed for individuals who have already worked inside established tax resolution firms and/or understand how to move cases efficiently through IRS processes.

You will not be responsible for document collection, admin tasks, or basic client follow\-up. Our internal team handles all front\-end communication and file building.

Your focus is simple: Analyze. Strategize. Improve outcomes.

Duties

• Review transcripts, notices, and financials to determine best resolution path
• Identify opportunities across OIC, CNC, IA, penalty abatement, and compliance strategy
• Flag weak files and improve positioning before submission
• Provide clear internal direction to case managers and investigation team
• Support complex or escalated cases involving liens, levies, and garnishments
• Help standardize decision\-making and elevate overall case quality

What This Role Is NOT:

• No document chasing
• No hand\-holding inexperienced staff
• No outbound client communication unless you choose to

Experience

• Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or CPA (active and in good standing)
• Direct experience working tax resolution cases at a professional level
• Strong understanding of IRS collections, financial analysis, and negotiation positioning
• Able to quickly assess a file and determine the most viable path forward
• Comfortable working in a performance\-driven environment

Pay: $40\.00 \- $100\.00 per hour
