We need a high\-energy, efficient colleague with experience working in a clerical capacity for a General Contractor in the commercial building space. They must have excellent computer and interpersonal skills with proven history of processing contracts and purchase orders timely. Relevant experience will be demonstrated by progressive career development in related companies that are over $20m in annual commercial sales in the public workspace or over $50m in commercial sales in the private arena; mixed experience is preferred. Procore experience given priority.

Responsibilities

- Display accountability for ensuring a project is supported through on\-time/accurate/thorough paperwork and related processing
- Follow established company/industry best practices in AIA contract processing, purchase orders, proposals, change orders and related; logging information and communicating effectively
- Prepare and process submittals; maintain master project and correspondence files; prepare project closeout files
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working with colleagues, clients, vendors and subcontractors to get your job done
- Other general office duties as necessary including filing and backup receiptionist support
- Support a culture of safety and continuous improvement on every project
- Analyze data, interpret if action is needed, and follow through until the task is complete
- Learn and utilize a variety of software to get your job done

- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of construction processes and documents
- Top notch computer skills with Microsoft office \& processing information in custom/industry programs required; Procore knowledge preferred, experience with DocuSign, Newforma, Submittal Exchange a plus.

- Previous experience in construction companies is required

Work hours will generally be Monday Friday 8am to 5pm less lunch but some overtime may be necessary depending on workload. All work to be done in our office in Clifton Park; remote work may be occasionally available after fully trained but we work best in a collaborative team environment that benefits from in\-person contact.
