- Provides clerical, administrative, and program management support to the Student Services Coordinator and Assistant Director of Student Services, as assigned
- Supports the Student Services Department in the coordination, implementation, documentation, and monitoring of student support services and intervention programs
- Supports intervention student eligibility communication, documentation, curriculum inventory and shipping, enrollment,and data tracking for all intervention programs
- Maintains accurate student eligibility records and ongoing data tracking for intervention programs, including teacher notifications and progress monitoring documentation
- Supports and maintains accurate student records, documentation support, data management, and communication support for Child Find, Section 504, and Student Study Team (SST) processes in compliance with state and federal requirements
- Supports Tier 1 and Tier 2 interventions within the district’s MTSS framework, including data entry, compliance tracking, and progress monitoring documentation
- Assists with the McKinney\-Vento Homeless Education Program, including communication with staff and families, documentation management, and service tracking
- Supports the English Language Development (ELD) Program, including communication with staff and families, documentation management, and service tracking
- Assists with student data management and communication in support of the PAGE (gifted and advanced learning), College and Career Readiness programs, military\-connected families, and other identified student populations
- Maintains accurate, confidential student records in compliance with FERPA, district policies, and applicable state and federal laws
- Responds to all school related written correspondence, phone calls, voicemails, and emails within 24 business hours
- Refers all formal disciplinary actions involving students and staff to school management ensuring compliance with the school’s Uniform Complaint Policy and the school’s Uniform Technology Policy; addressing and resolving complaints from students, parents, and staff in a timely manner; and complying with the provisions of California Penal Code Section 11166 (Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act)

- Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school and clerical or secretarial experience
- Two (2\) years of related experience preferred
- State and federal fingerprint clearance (LiveScan) to work with students (Ed. Code 44237\). No prospective employee can report to work without this clearance being received and Human Resources notifying the immediate supervisor of this clearance.
- Proof of a clear TB Tine test dated within the last 60 days (Ed. Code 49406\) upon employment and thereafter updated every four years
- Computer and technology literacy:

Position Summary: The Senior Specialist, Student Services, provides administrative and program support to the Student Services Department by assisting with the coordination, documentation, data tracking, and communication related to student support services and intervention programs. The position helps maintain accurate and confidential student records, supports compliance with state and federal requirements, and assists staff and families in the delivery of services for a variety of student programs and identified populations.
