Dance \& Fitness Studio Looking for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant

\MINDBODY System experience is a PLUS\

Aesthetic Studios is a professional dance and fitness studio specializing in teaching Latin, Hip\-Hop, Ballet, International Folk and many other styles of dancing to kids and adults. Studio is very busy with multiple classes and rentals going on at the same time. The studio participates in many events such as competitions, showcases, video shoots and special events throughout the year, there is always something going on! The staff is a team with a huge award winning record in different fields of the industry.

Employment Type : Part\-Time or Full\-Time

Looking for someone for 4\-6 days per week

Full time\- 4 to 5 days a week

Part time \- 3 or 4 days a week

Hours: Monday\-Friday, 5:00 pm\-10:00 pm (sometimes earlier or later) and Sundays, 9:00 am\-1:00pm

Shifts can be: 8hrs with mandatory 30min break / 4hrs no break / 6hrs with optional 15\-30min break. Daily schedule can be divided between two shifts (two employees) ex: 12\-6pm and 5\-10:30pm (one hour overlay of two employees helping each other)

(We also may request more hours for special events.)

Pay:

$18\*/hr plus commissions

\*Higher starting rate available for people with content creating skills.

Additional pay is available

\*Pay will be raised based on performance and will be re\-evaluated bi\-annually

\*Commissions and Bonus pay will be explained in the interview

Responsibilities:

  • Open/close the studio
  • Manage multiple tasks at the same time.
  • Greet clients as they enter the facility, answer questions, provide basic information
  • Answer phone, take messages or pass on calls as appropriate; reply to emails
  • Register clients for group and private lessons
  • Precise Data Entry: Process \& record payments
  • Manage \& maintain office supplies
  • Sell merchandise and uniforms
  • Maintain office cleanliness
  • other duties as assigned
  • Basic Qualifications \& Requirements:

  • Must be reliable, personable, detail\-oriented, a quick learner, friendly, customer service focused, patient, and be able to take initiative!
  • Independent, self\-starter requiring minimal guidance
  • Highly reliable, dependable, and responsible
  • Team player with great interpersonal, communication and written skills
  • Ability to handle busy front office, multi\-tasking, and to prioritize assignments
  • 1\-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in reception or customer service
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel), email and internet (YouTube, Canva etc)
  • Good with children and adults
  • Conflict and problem\-solving skills
  • Strong ability to follow directions on the spot.
  • Has reliable transportation to drive to/from our location in Sherman Oaks, or to run other business\-related errands
  • Ability to speak English fluently, Hebrew and/or Russian is a plus.
  • Bonus: social media skills, photography and gimbal skills, video or photo editing skills, marketing \- please let us know about any of these!
