Virtual Tax Preparer

Job Overview We are seeking a detail\-oriented and knowledgeable Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and professional tax preparation, with the ability to analyze financial data and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a solid understanding of financial concepts to assist clients effectively during tax season. Duties Prepare and file federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Analyze financial information and provide insights to clients regarding their tax situations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and offering guidance on tax\-related matters. Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents to identify potential deductions and credits. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary documentation for accurate tax filing. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and maximize client benefits. Assist in bookkeeping tasks as needed, maintaining accurate financial records throughout the year. Must be willing to pay a $25 commitment fee and sign a commitment agreement. Commitment fee will be returned with first processed tax return. Experience Proven experience in professional tax preparation, public accounting, or corporate accounting is preferred. Strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and tax regulations. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data. Strong math skills and familiarity with 10 key typing for efficient data entry. Previous experience in sales or marketing is a plus, enhancing client engagement efforts. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long\-term client relationships. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
