Duties Prepare and review individual, corporate, partnership, and other tax returns using advanced tax preparation software. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws by staying current on updates and changes in tax regulations. Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documents, clarify financial details, and explain tax strategies. Analyze financial data and accounting records using QuickBooks, Sage, and other accounting software to ensure accurate reporting. Assist clients with tax planning strategies to optimize their financial outcomes while maintaining compliance. Support client acquisition efforts through marketing initiatives and providing excellent customer service to build lasting relationships. Maintain meticulous records of all tax documents, reports, and correspondence for audit readiness and future reference. Qualifications Proven experience in tax return preparation for individual and corporate clients with a strong understanding of tax law and compliance requirements. Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and financial concepts. Proficiency in tax reporting software such as TurboTax, Drake Tax, or similar platforms. Hands\-on experience with accounting software including QuickBooks and Sage; familiarity with financial software is a plus. Strong analysis skills combined with excellent math proficiency and 10\-key typing accuracy for data entry tasks. Exceptional client communication skills to explain complex financial information clearly and professionally. Background in public accounting or corporate accounting is highly desirable; experience with partnership taxation is a plus. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a remote setting.
