Why You'll Love This Opportunity Fully remote position Monday\-Friday schedule Company\-provided secure computer Collaborative, supportive clinical team Stable and growing healthcare organization Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care Long\-term career growth opportunities Position Highlights Full\-time remote Medical Assistant role Administrative and clinical documentation support Electronic Medical Record (EMR)\-focused workflow Dedicated responsibilities supporting Assisted Living Facility (ALF) partners Independent work environment with strong team collaboration Productivity\-focused role with clear daily objectives Key Responsibilities Review, gather, and accurately document patient information within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Process physician orders, forms, and medical documentation Coordinate provider signatures and ensure timely completion of required documentation Submit, monitor, and follow up on prior authorizations Perform order entry accurately and efficiently Coordinate with Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), providers, and internal clinical teams regarding patient care needs Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential medical records Adhere to Encompass Healthcare's Standard Operating Procedures and Corporate Compliance Program Meet daily productivity and quality expectations while maintaining exceptional attention to detail Perform additional administrative and clinical support duties as assigned Qualifications Required Medical Assistant experience in a healthcare setting Experience working within an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Excellent data entry and documentation skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently in a remote environment Excellent organizational and problem\-solving skills Ability to exercise sound judgment while handling confidential patient information Reliable internet connection and ability to work on a company\-issued secure computer Preferred Experience processing prior authorizations Experience with physician order entry Experience supporting Assisted Living Facilities (ALF), Long\-Term Care (LTC), or post\-acute care environments Familiarity with medical documentation workflows Experience coordinating provider documentation and signatures What Makes You Successful You are detail\-oriented and committed to accuracy.
