Neeley School of Business Add to favorites View favorites ### Job Summary: The Assistant Director, Neeley Fellows, supports the successful administration of the Neeley Fellows Program, a highly selective academic honors business program with an average of 96 student members annually. The Assistant Director manages internal program operations, helps advance strategic goals and objectives, coaches students as they navigate the Neeley Fellows transformational experience, and represents the Neeley Fellows brand with professionalism and integrity in interactions with students, faculty and staff, parents, alumni and other stakeholders. ### Duties \& Essential Job Functions: Duties and Essential Job Functions: Administrative 1\. Collaborates with the Program and Academic Directors to establish, implement, and maintain program goals and objectives. Communicates and monitors student requirements and professional development expectations through various technology platforms. Maintains data integrity through accurate data entry, testing, verification, reporting and record retention. 2\. Administers program policies and procedures, identifies and resolves issues, designs and executes feedback mechanisms and identifies solutions to address. Develops and implements continuous improvement strategies to enhance program effectiveness and delivery. Serves as a key point of contact for internal and external program stakeholders. 3\. Coordinates and supports student enrollment in Neeley Fellows courses. Program and Student Development/Engagement 4\. Assists in development and implementation of strategic initiatives that advance the mission and goals of the Neeley Fellows program. 5\. Supports the development of high\-achieving business honors students conducting student coaching sessions and designing activities to support and enhance their personal and professional development. Advises and supports the Neeley Fellows Student Organization (NFSO) executive board in achieving its objectives , In conjunction with the Directors. Provides coaching, mentorship, and leadership guidance to student leaders. 6\. Plans, develops, and facilitates programs, developmental labs and events that promote professional growth and community development. Identifies participant needs and implements solutions that enhance the student experience. 7\. Plans and coordinates domestic travel experiences designed to enhance students’ professional development and business exposure. Provides administrative support for the international trip and course offering. Serves as a trip advisor as needed. Researches, plans, and executes large scale student, alumni, and family engagement events. Supports the Director in strengthening alumni engagement through meaningful programs, volunteer opportunities, and networking initiatives. Branding and Marketing 8\. Develops and implements marketing and communication strategies for internal and external audiences. Identifies branding needs and oversees the creation and distribution of program communications and marketing across print, digital, and social media platforms working in conjunction with student leaders. 9\. Creates, updates, and maintains program web pages in coordination with Neeley School and University Marketing and Communications. 10\. Designs and produces marketing and promotional materials that support program recruitment, engagement, and visibility. Budget/Contract Management and Negotiations 11\. Monitors program budgets by monitoring expenses and revenue and ensuring compliance with university financial policies. a. Tracks and reports budget activity; processes and monitors invoices and purchase orders; and reconciles expenditures. b. Manage revenue by verifying transaction information by following internal accounting controls. c. Partners with the Director to manage multiple specialized program budgets and support budget planning and forecasting. 12\. Oversees contract administration for the program in collaboration with the TCU Contracts Team, external vendors, and university partners. Researches and evaluates vendors, facilitates negotiations, and supports contract execution to meet program objectives. Recruiting, Application Systems and Processes 13\. Supports the design, development, and execution of recruiting events and mechanisms. 14\. Manages all aspects of the Neeley Fellows application process, including applicant communications, application configuration, confidential data management, coordination of reviewers, and facilitation of interview and evaluation processes. 15\. Collaborates with software vendor to ensure application systems meet program needs. Troubleshoots issues, works with stakeholders to implement solutions and process improvements. Data Analysis and Synthesis 16\. Prepares reports, presentations, and other program documentation by researching, analyzing and synthesizing information, data and trends. Provides insights and recommendations to support strategic decision\-making and continuous improvement. 17\. Performs other related duties as assigned. ### Required Education \& Experience: Bachelor’s degree 3 years in professional office administration, program development, or equivalent combination of education and experience. ### Preferred Education \& Experience: Higher education experience ### Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: None ### Preferred Licensure, Certification, and/or Specialized Training: None ### Knowledge, Skills \& Abilities: Knowledge of web\-based applications. Knowledge of basic research techniques. Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques. Knowledge of customer service techniques. Skill in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Skill in negotiating contract terms and pricing. Skill in organizing and problems solving. Ability to manage budgetary responsibilities. Ability to analyze data and synthesize information to identify issues and make recommendations. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and oral communications with a focus of professionalism. Ability to serve and coach students with a professional yet supportive approach. Ability to perform tasks with a strong attention to detail. Ability to successfully and effectively manage multiple tasks/projects and priorities simultaneously to meet both long\- term and short\-term goals. Ability to work independently. Ability to evaluate, leverage technology solutions and make recommendations to improve operations. Ability to plan large, scale (100\+ person) events. Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs. ### Work Environment: Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours. This role is an on campus, in\-person position. There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.
