Senior Executive Assistant ============================== Sound Transit \| Downtown Seattle, WA Contract Length: 1 month Schedule: Hybrid Pay: $30–$35 per hour, depending on experience Position Overview --------------------- Sound Transit is seeking an experienced Senior Executive Assistant for a one\-month contract assignment at its downtown Seattle office. This individual will provide high\-level administrative support to senior leadership, manage competing priorities, and help ensure efficient day\-to\-day operations. The ideal candidate is highly organized, professional, discreet, and comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment with multiple stakeholders. This position requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle confidential information. Key Responsibilities ------------------------ Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior executives. Manage complex calendars, meetings, appointments, and scheduling conflicts. Coordinate in\-person and virtual meetings, including agendas, materials, technology, and follow\-up items. Prepare, edit, and format correspondence, reports, presentations, and other executive\-level documents. Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare related itineraries and expense reports. Screen and prioritize emails, phone calls, requests, and other communications. Serve as a professional liaison between executives, internal departments, external partners, and community stakeholders. Track deadlines, commitments, and action items to ensure timely completion. Maintain organized electronic and physical records. Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Provide coverage and support for special projects and other administrative needs during the contract period. Qualifications ------------------ Five or more years of executive\-level administrative support experience preferred. Previous experience supporting senior executives or multiple leaders. Excellent calendar management, organization, and prioritization skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams. Ability to quickly learn internal systems and processes. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Professional demeanor and sound judgment when handling sensitive matters. Ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment. Public\-sector, transportation, infrastructure, or government experience is a plus.
