Description: The Licensed Therapist is responsible for providing diagnostic assessments, therapy, counseling, and support services for a diverse caseload including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges, or family conflict. The incumbent in this position should hold extensive knowledge and utilization with other services and resources within the community, acting as a liaison to provide patients with information and support when required. Job Details: ● Licensed Clinical or Provisionally Social Worker, or Licensed or Pre licensed Professional Counselor of Mental Health ● 1\+ year’s experience with providing diagnostic assessment and therapy services to a full range of individuals from youth through adulthood ● Valid license as an LCSW, LMSW or LPC, LACMH ● Maintain professional licensure and/or certification throughout employment ● Ability to work as a cooperative team member ● Ability to set and keep a flexible work schedule, including evenings and weekends are optional ● Ability to guide, direct, or influence people ● Excellent written and oral communication skills ● Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with mentally or emotionally disabled persons and their families ● Experience and confidence identifying and implementing evidence\-based practices ● Experience working in crisis setting with individuals and families ● Demonstrated abilities in program development, evaluation, and public speaking ● Strong written and oral communication skills ● Proficiency in operating computer systems, including Google Business, Microsoft Office, and electronic medical record keeping ● Ability to work in and adapt the culture of a multi\-cultural, community\-based organization.
