Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), you will be a vital pillar of our care team, significantly impacting patient well\-being through direct support and seamless coordination. Every day, you will actively collaborate on comprehensive screenings, assist with clinical procedures, provide essential health education, and expertly manage administrative tasks, leveraging technology to coordinate care for diverse patient populations. You will ensure patients feel at ease, patiently explaining instructions and addressing their concerns. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong clinical knowledge, technological fluency, genuine compassion for patient well\-being, and an adaptable spirit keen on continuous learning and collaborative teamwork. Direct and guide back office staff in monitoring and expediting workflow. Handle medical supply inventory, orders, and cost control. Perform general patient care by following established standards and procedures. Greet and prepare patients for the health care provider. Obtain and record vital signs and other appropriate information, such as height, weight, drug allergies, current medications and presenting problem. May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies or High School GED General Studies and years Medical Assistant experience Certified Clinical Medical Assistant, upon hire or Certified Medical Assistant AAMA, upon hire or Certified Medical Assistant NHA, upon hire or National Certified Medical Assistant NCCT, upon hire or National Registered/Certified Medical Assistant NAHP, upon hire or Registered Medical Assistant AMT, upon hire or Registered Medical Assistant, upon hire or Cert Med Asst \- MMCI, upon hire and Basic Life Support \- CPR, within 30 Days Where You'll Work CommonSpirit Health was formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health.
