Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail\-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage the company's financial records, ensure accurate accounting. The ideal candidate will maintain financial transactions, reconcile accounts, prepare financial reports, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. Key Responsibilities Record daily financial transactions accurately. Maintain general ledger accounts and financial records. Reconcile bank statements and company accounts. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable. Follow up with outstanding invoices and payments Process payroll and maintain payroll records (if applicable). Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist during audits. Collaborate with accountants and management to support financial planning. Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role. Proficiency in QuickBooks. Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Strong analytical, problem\-solving, and communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information. Knowledge of payroll processing and tax preparation. Experience with financial reporting and reconciliations. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Strong time management and multitasking skills. Work Environment part\-time position Office\-based or remote work options may be available.
