Part-Time Transcriptionist

Job Overview We are seeking a detail\-oriented and motivated Contract Part\-Time Transcriptionist to join our team. In this role, you will convert audio recordings into accurate written documents and billing entries ensuring clarity and adherence to style guidelines, as well as input of billing entries into case management software (Aderant Total Office/Smokeball). This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to our legal support services. Responsibilities Transcribe audio recordings into well\-organized, accurate written documents and billing entries using appropriate formatting standards Edit and proofread documents and billing entries for grammatical accuracy, spelling, punctuation, and style consistency Utilize transcription software and tools efficiently to enhance productivity Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times Collaborate with attorney(s) to improve transcription quality and workflow processes Experience Proven experience in transcription, editing, or proofreading roles preferred Strong command of the English language with excellent writing skills Proficiency in typing quickly and accurately with a high level of attention to detail Familiarity with transcription software, case management software (Aderant Total Office/Smokeball) is a plus Knowledge of legal terminology or experience working within legal environments is advantageous Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to style guidelines consistently Join us as a Contract Part\-Time Transcriptionist and play a vital role in supporting our legal team through precise and professional transcription services.
