Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to manage and oversee payroll operations within our organization. THIS IS A PART\-TIME CONTRACT POSITION. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and support various payroll functions. Proficiency with payroll management systems is required. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll concepts. Duties Process weekly, bi\-weekly or monthly payroll. Maintain accurate records of employee hours, benefits administration, and deductions. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations; prepare tax filings as needed. Conduct data entry tasks with accuracy. Assist with benefits administration including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Ability to update employee information and process changes accurately and efficiently. Prepare reports for clients regarding payroll costs, tax liabilities, and compliance status. Qualifications Familiarity with payroll systems is required. Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy; experience with 10 key typing is helpful. Microsoft Excel, Word and accurate keyboarding skills required. Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail is required. Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients is required. Pay: $23\.00 \- $25\.00 per hour Benefits: Flexible schedule Work Location: Hybrid remote in Des Moines, IA 50321
