Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team and drive business growth. Duties Lead and supervise the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets through coaching, training, and motivation. Develop and implement effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and merchandising plans to attract customers and boost revenue. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and purchasing activities to ensure product availability and optimal store presentation. Oversee daily store operations including cashiering, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and customer service excellence. Conduct employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and onboarding processes to build a strong team aligned with company goals. Monitor store performance metrics such as retail math (sales per square foot), budgeting, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability. Ensure compliance with safety standards, payroll procedures, bookkeeping tasks, and other administrative responsibilities while fostering a positive work environment. Requirements Proven experience in retail sales management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities to engage customers and motivate staff. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases effectively. Demonstrated expertise in employee training \& development, team management, and leadership skills. Knowledge of inventory management systems, POS technology, merchandising techniques, and retail math principles. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently with excellent organizational skills and time management. Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is preferred but not required; a background in retail management is essential.
