POSITION SUMMARY The Inventory Specialist is responsible for the execution of all back of house standard operating procedures in regards to receiving, processing, storage, compliance, and destruction of all products. An understanding of METRC and Cannabis related compliance a plus but a not requirement A deep understanding of how to work efficiently in an operational retail store environment where multiple facets of the business are running seamlessly together to maximize productivity and efficiency Know how to effectively execute receiving, processing, and storage procedures to maximize backroom efficiency and productivity You understand that structure and compliance are critical to success Collaborate with the AGM of Inventory Control to execute back of house and compliance SOPs Have a relentless approach to ensure all cannabis compliance guidelines are followed across all aspects of the store Able to adhere to OSHA, Security and Safety guidelines to ensure we are creating a healthy and safe working environment for our customers and team members INVENTORY SPECIALIST RESPONSIBILITIES Deliver an exceptional brand experience for our customer by understanding and solving their needs while creating ways to positively impact their lives Be a key player in an exceptional team environment and culture that aligns with our company objectives and values Responsible for growing sales revenue through the execution of Solful’s customer experience culture Deliver an exceptional back room experience in the store through the impeccable organization of products to ensure a smooth and efficient flow to the sales floor · Execute day to day back of house operations including receiving, processing, storage, compliance, and destruction of all products · Partner with AGM Inventory Control to provide feedback on inventory levels · Implement and maintain all Standard Operating Procedures Demonstrate Solful’s “Leadership Traits” Executes flawless data entry receiving and managing products in Solful’s Inventory management systems Responsible for tracking paperwork flow including invoicing, manifests, and COA’s through the receiving process in conjunction with the AGM Inventory Control Assists in the execution of vendor payments and helps oversee communication to finance and accounting Assists in receiving and invoicing communication to finance and accounting Participate and contribute to regular store meetings Partners with the store leadership and sales floor teams to ensure a well organized and fully stocked sales floor Assists in the execution of store visual guidelines including floor planograms and promotional/event set up in conjunction with the Store Leadership team Support store opening/closing and floor tasks when needed A leader in product knowledge and assists store leadership in being an educational resource for the store team Participates in Loss Prevention and monitors for Internal, External, and Paperwork shrink Participates in weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and adhere to all cannabis regulated compliance Maintain all cannabis compliance guidelines and SOPs Ensures compliance on all SOPs in regards to METRC, keeps flawless records, and ensures all products are received in the POS system that aligns with guidelines and compliance regulations Plays a key role in security protocols and instore radio communication Adheres to all break, meals, and overtime guidelines Communicates facilities needs to Store Leadership in a timely manner Promotes and practices safe work habits, reports potential safety hazards and operational inconsistencies to Store Leadership Physical Requirements May have to lift up to 40 lbs.
