Job Title: Leasing Assistant Department: Property Management / Leasing Reports To: Associate Director / Leasing Manager Employment Type: Full\-Time \\\Position Summary\\\ The Leasing Assistant supports our leasing operations. This position is responsible for assisting prospective tenants throughout the leasing process, coordinating property showings, maintaining marketing listings, and providing administrative support to the leasing team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer\-focused, detail\-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment. \\\Key Responsibilities\\\ Leasing Support Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective tenants via phone, email, text, and online platforms. Schedule and coordinate property showings. Follow up with prospects to encourage applications and move\-ins. Assist applicants throughout the leasing process. Maintain accurate records of leads, showings, applications, and lease activity. Application Processing Collect and review rental applications for completeness. Track application status and communicate updates to applicants. Prepare approval and denial communications. Marketing \& Vacancy Management Update and maintain online property listings. Upload property photos, descriptions, and pricing information. Monitor listing performance and notify management of vacancy concerns. Assist with marketing campaigns designed to reduce vacancy days. Administrative Support Maintain leasing reports and occupancy tracking. Enter and update data in CRM and property management systems. Assist with lease renewals and resident communications. Support special projects and other administrative duties as assigned. \\\Qualifications\\\ Required High school diploma or equivalent. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. Preferred Experience with residential property management or leasing. Familiarity with property management software; Propertyware or similar). Real estate or property management experience involving single\-family rental homes. Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations and leasing best practices.
