Operations Manager / Property Manager Grand Mountain Rentals \| Grand Lake, Colorado Grand Mountain Rentals is a locally owned vacation rental and property management company serving Grand Lake and the surrounding area. We are seeking a highly organized, self\-motivated professional to join our small, close\-knit team that genuinely enjoys working together. This position may be full\-time or part\-time for the right candidate. Office hours are generally 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with some flexibility. Weekend work will be required during peak seasons. This is a hands\-on role that touches nearly every aspect of our business, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem\-solving, and learning new skills. Responsibilities span guest services, homeowner relations, office administration, property management, marketing, and operations. No two days are the same. Coordinate guest requests and homeowner needs. Process invoices and maintain records using QuickBooks. Monitor and respond to emails throughout the day. Learn and become highly proficient in our reservation software, which is a significant part of the day\-to\-day responsibilities of this position. Manage reservations, guest communications, booking modifications, and reservation\-related tasks accurately and efficiently. Maintain an organized workflow and utilize systems, lists, calendars, or other tools necessary to stay on top of responsibilities and deadlines. Schedule, apply for and maintain organization for Grand County and/or Town STR permits and fire inspections. Effectively prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast\-paced environment where priorities can change throughout the day. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance vendors, and management. Perform occasional property visits, home checks, deliveries, and guest assistance. Become knowledgeable about our homes and the Grand Lake and Granby Ranch areas. Assist with marketing projects, social media efforts, photography coordination, listing updates, and other administrative tasks. Qualifications High school diploma required Minimum 5 years of front\-line customer service experience. Previous office administration experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, time\-management, reasoning, and problem\-solving abilities. Ability to efficiently prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities throughout the day. Reliable transportation and ability/confidence to drive in winter conditions. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks without constant supervision. Must be comfortable working in a highly autonomous environment and capable of managing priorities with minimal oversight. Positive, professional demeanor when working with guests, homeowners, vendors, and coworkers. Preferred Experience QuickBooks Some college Short\-term or vacation rental management Canva Facebook and social media marketing Photography Lightroom / Photoshop Hospitality, tourism, or property management Who Will Succeed In This Role The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, sensible, and resourceful. They genuinely enjoy working with people and take pride in providing exceptional customer service. This role requires someone who is naturally personable, patient, and positive. You will interact daily with guests, homeowners, vendors, and coworkers, often during stressful situations or when helping resolve concerns and unexpected challenges. The ability to remain professional, solution\-oriented, and calm when faced with challenging personalities or difficult circumstances is imperative for success in this position. Because we are a small office, we are looking for someone who takes initiative, recognizes what needs to be done, and follows through without needing to be micromanaged. The right candidate is comfortable wearing many hats, managing multiple priorities, and working both independently and as part of a team. This position is best suited for someone who enjoys being productive, takes pride in staying organized, and finds satisfaction in helping others while keeping many moving pieces running smoothly.
