Interior Design Assistant

Duties Assist in creating detailed design concepts using software such as SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite. Prepare presentation boards, mood boards, and visualizations that effectively communicate design ideas to clients. Support project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with vendors for lighting sales, renovation, and remodeling projects. Draft technical drawings and construction documents with precision using CAD and Bluebeam. Collaborate with the team on lighting design and interior finishes, applying color theory principles for cohesive aesthetics. Participate in site visits to assist with renovation and construction oversight, ensuring designs are executed accurately. Maintain organized project files, contracts, and documentation to streamline workflows. Sourcing materials and furnishings Some Administrative duties Requirements Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Strong understanding of drafting techniques, CAD standards, and construction processes. Knowledge of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design, and remodeling strategies. Experience with project management tasks such as budgeting and scheduling is preferred. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients and vendors on lighting sales and renovation projects. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
