The Administrative Assistant – Legal, Compliance and Information Security is responsible for supporting both the Compliance and Info Sec teams with all administrative duties. The Administrative Assistant must exhibit integrity, discretion and confidentiality while performing all duties and be able to maintain composure while under pressure. The ideal candidate for this position will show patience, curiosity, and humility while performing daily tasks, as well as exhibit curiosity and comfortability with the company business model and regulatory environment. Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions. 1\. Draft routine correspondence and first draft policies and procedures. 2\. Proofread Compliance and Information Security documents which may include: policies, procedures, contracts, NDA’s, MSA’s, SOW’s and legal documents. 3\. Execute document management with version control discipline. 4\. Ability to conduct structured interviews with department leads and subject matter experts to elicit, document and standardize business processes for inclusion on company platforms and internal knowledge bases. 5\. Perform PDF manipulation in Adobe Acrobat Pro including combining, redacting and bookmarking. 6\. Aptitude and willingness to support and develop a working knowledge of regulatory control frameworks including HIPPA, URAC, HITRUST, SOC, CMS and other federal, state and industry\-specific requirements. 7\. Database creation with data entry accuracy. 8\. Ability to exhibit patience with iterative, document heavy work. 9\. Exhibit sound judgment when determining items that can be handled independently versus items that require escalation. 10\. Collect daily company mail and distribute to the appropriate department/employees. Competencies 1\. Discretion and confidentiality instincts. 2\. Reliability and personal ownership of deadlines. 3\. Ethical Conduct. 4\. Technical writing skills with an emphasis on GRC framework. 5\. Strong written communication skills with a comfortable formal tone. 6\. Critical Thinking and Evaluating. 7\. Familiarity with legal, compliance, and information security terminology. 8\. Thoroughness. 9\. Detail Oriented. 10\. Ability to maintain composure under pressure. 11\. Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and DocuSign. 12\. Willingness to learn new platforms quickly. Required Education and Experience 1\. 2\+ years of experience in compliance\-related role. 2\. Professional written and verbal communication skillsin English. 3\. Strong critical thinking abilities. 4\. Ability to work and professionally communicate with all levels of employees. 5\. Must reside in St. George, Utah. 6\. Reliable transportation. 7\. Valid US Driver’s License. 8\. High School Diploma or GED. Associate’s degree or coursework in business administration, legal studies, paralegal studies, office administration, or a related field is a plus.
