Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail\-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our dynamic HR team. In this pivotal role, you will support a wide range of human resources functions, ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive workplace environment. Your energy and organizational skills will help streamline HR processes, enhance employee engagement, and contribute to the strategic growth of our organization. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your HR expertise while making a meaningful impact on our team. Duties Assist with talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing candidates through ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) like iCIMS, Taleo, or Workday, and coordinating interview schedules. Support employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires are welcomed and integrated seamlessly into the company culture. Maintain accurate HR data entry within HRIS platforms such as SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM, or UltiPro, ensuring data integrity for payroll, benefits administration, and workforce management. Contribute to employee relations initiatives by helping organize training \& development sessions, performance management activities, and employee evaluation processes. Aid in benefits administration tasks including FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) documentation, workers’ compensation claims, and benefits enrollment procedures. Assist with compliance activities related to employment \& labor law, OSHA regulations, affirmative action planning, and contracts management. Support HR projects such as organization design, succession planning, change management initiatives, and strategic planning efforts. Requirements Demonstrated experience in human resources management or administrative support within a corporate environment. Strong knowledge of human capital management practices including talent management, workforce management, and employee engagement strategies. Familiarity with HR software platforms such as Workday, Paychex, ADP, Kronos, or Ceridian is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly and professionally. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through project management skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of employment \& labor law regulations including FMLA, OSHA standards, workers’ compensation procedures, and affirmative action requirements. Proficiency in data collection and analysis tools such as Salesforce or Oracle HCM for reporting purposes. Organizational skills with experience in data entry, social media management for employer branding efforts, and administrative tasks related to HR functions.
