Please Note: The schedule for this position is Monday \- Friday, 8:00AM to 5:00PM POSITION TITLE: ADP Support Specialist RESPONSIBLE TO: ADP Assistant Manager LOCATION: Any Door Place (ADP) \- McMinnville COMPENSATION: $19\.75 \- 22\.71/ DOE WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position requires the employee to work onsite. Remote work is not supported. RESPONSIBLE FOR: This full\-time, non\-exempt position supports all aspects of the AnyDoor Place (ADP) McMinnville Navigation Center. The ADP McMinnville facility is composed of three essential elements: day center services to support basic needs, navigation center services to support quick resource resolution, and nightly shelter services. All programs and services offered out of the ADP facility are to assist individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Yamhill County, OR. Our goal at ADP is to assist households’ access YCAP services and resources in the surrounding area. This position works closely with the ADP Manager to implement clear Standard Operating Procedure’s (SOP) for participants at the ADP and to orient them to the program. This position will be the first touch point into the program for new participating households. YCAP’s ADP Navigation Centers are designed to support vulnerable people in our community; therefore, our facility will be open and operating during inclement weather and on holidays. Staff members are expected to work their regularly assigned schedule during inclement weather and holidays. WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position will work closely with the unhoused population in both an office setting and shelter facility setting. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Create a positive team atmosphere providing quality service to clients, staff and volunteers through active listening, positive problem solving, and timely responses. Responsible for ADP program orientation and intake for new participating households. Explain and implement all ADP program policy and procedure to new participants. Schedule the ADP intake office spaces for case manager and community partners with flexible drop\-in schedules. Maintain and update the ADP facilities daily log (i.e. staff, visitors, volunteer community partners on site; deliveries etc.). This includes the check in and out of participating households using HMIS software and documents located on computer. Mitigate general questions and concerns that arise from participating households, volunteers, and community partners to appropriate staff. Maintain ADP’s resource room, supportive supply room, community kitchen room, laundry room, and mail distribution. Maintain records, data and files for program and fiscal requirements, in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness of site including outside the building. Knowledge/awareness of community resources related to healthcare, income, and housing to assist clients in need of direction if/when case managers is unavailable. Follow, adhere to, and advance all YCAP, Housing Stabilization department, program policies and procedures. Assist with purchasing supplies for program activities and service needs in alignment with program budget. Support YCAP Coordinated Entry system, including implementing best practices and data tracking measures, system racial equity analysis, and leading community case conferencing meetings. Requires completion of trainings that meet ADP requirements. This includes but is not limited to: De\-Escalation, Trauma informed care, Coordinated Entry, Non\-Violent Communication, Mental Health First Aid, Domestic Violence Support, and Harm Reduction Requires completion of food safety training. Will drive to and from locations for meetings and supplies. At times, this may include ADP client transportation. Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, \& ABILITIES High school diploma and/or equivalent. Three years (or more) experience in a professional support job preferred. Experience with homeless service systems/ coordinated entry systems preferred Above\-average skills using word processing, spreadsheets, database and publishing software. Excellent verbal and written communications, problem solving and team work. Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients and staff from diverse backgrounds. This includes but is not limited to ethnic, religious, physical, sexual orientation, and mental abilities). Commitment to work as part of a team. Ability to adapt to evolving social situations, remain calm in stressful situations and self\-regulate emotions while interacting with clients and staff. Must have a positive attitude when working with clients, co\-workers and volunteers. Ability to maintain confidentiality of client and organizational information Ability to work independently on multiple projects in a timely fashion Ability to pass background and drug screens Ability to drive, and pass insurance requirements of driving record PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described represent those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
