Local, fast paced property management company is seeking an office/leasing assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience and be detailed oriented with a strong desire to learn and grow with us. This position will consist of a variety of assignments that will evolve as you gain experience. A typical day will include anything from greeting walk\-ins, answering phones, data entry, processing rental applications, lead follow\-ups, accepting rent payments, posting content to social media, property inspections, corresponding with residents/property owners/vendors, providing unit/home tours, and more. Qualifications \& Requirements: Local travel to off\-site properties \- Reliable vehicle and valid driver's license \& insurance required \- Mileage reimbursed. Ability to have flexibility with hours when needed, including mandatory overtime into evenings and weekends during our peak busy season in August. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with posting social media content. Very organized with strong attention to detail. Ability to multi\-task, prioritize and meet deadlines. Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out detailed written or verbal instructions. Self\-motivation and creativity to think outside of the box Must reside in or in close proximity to City of Kalamazoo.
