Part\-time Accounting Assistant: Keller Rohrback L.L.P., a nationally recognized law firm is seeking to hire a part\-time accounting assistant with 3\+ years of accounting experience in a professional services firm, and/or a recent college degree in business administration or finance. This is a part\-time position, working 30\+ hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work onsite for their first three months of employment and may be eligible for a hybrid remote/onsite work arrangement following that period. The schedule for this onsite position is flexible during core business hours of 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday and may be determined in consultation with the Accounting Manager. The successful candidate will have strong math and Excel skills, possess exceptional customer\-service skills internally with attorneys and staff and externally with firm clients and vendors; reflect sound problem solving and independent judgment skills; have an easy ability to multi\-task, and will have earned a reputation for being accurate, proactive, efficient and dependable. Under the supervision of our Accounting Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for performing the following accounting tasks: Assist with processing payments. Review prior daily cash receipts to bank report. Process firm credit card expense reports. Process employee expense reimbursements. Assist with invoice data entry. Monitor closed matters for WIP. Review costs writedowns in WIP. Prepare matters to be closed. Assist with Prebill edits. Import soft costs. Email Perspective Clients activity reports and process changes. Provide fee and cost reports to Complex Litigation team for tracking purposes Run and send out individual Attorney month end reports. Review and sort daily incoming physical mail. Assist with special projects and perform various administrative and accounting duties as required. Assist with year\-end closing. Always maintain strict confidentiality. Position Requirements: Proficient in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, or similar software. Possess math, excel, and computational skills. Attention to detail with accurate data entry skills. Must be highly organized and capable of timely managing multiple tasks and priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Possess exceptional customer\-service skills internally with attorneys and staff and externally with firm clients and vendors. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods spent sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at time.
