Location: Hybrid or Remote (Ohio preferred) Hours: 10–15 hours per week (flexible) Type: Temporary, with potential to become permanent About the Role We are looking for a reliable and detail\-oriented Accounting \& Administrative Assistant to support our growing CPA practice. This position is ideal for a college student, intern, or recent graduate seeking hands\-on experience in both accounting and general business operations. The schedule is flexible (10–15 hours per week), making it easy to work around classes or other commitments. This role may transition into a long\-term opportunity based on performance and firm needs. Responsibilities Assist with accounts payable (entering invoices, organizing vendor bills) Help maintain accurate financial records and spreadsheets Perform basic account reconciliations and data entry Organize and manage digital files (PDFs, receipts, documents) Assist with general administrative tasks (email organization, scheduling, document preparation) Support the team with various accounting and office\-related projects Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field Strong attention to detail and organization skills Comfortable using Excel and basic business software Ability to manage tasks independently and follow through Good communication skills and willingness to learn Experience with QuickBooks or similar software is a plus, but not required What We Offer Flexible, part\-time schedule Exposure to real\-world accounting and business operations Hands\-on experience in a CPA firm environment Opportunity for growth into a permanent role Pay: $18\.00 \- $25\.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Columbus, OH 43223
