Administrative \& Operations Assistant Location: Dothan, AL Job Type: Full\-Time, In\-Office Only Pay: Up to $14\.00 per hour Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail\-oriented, and dependable Administrative \& Operations Assistant to support the backend operations of our growing organization. This position is responsible for administrative support, HR coordination, recruiting, payroll administration, compliance tracking, reporting, document management, and operational support. This is not a receptionist position. The successful candidate will play a critical role in keeping business operations organized, compliant, and running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Administrative Support Manage company emails and business correspondence. Maintain digital and physical filing systems. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and business documents. Track deadlines and follow up on outstanding tasks. Maintain organized company records and documentation. Assist leadership with administrative projects and daily operational needs. Human Resources \& Recruiting Post job openings and manage applicant tracking. Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates. Collect onboarding documentation and maintain personnel files. Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding processes. Track attendance, leave requests, and employee records. Maintain confidential HR documentation. Payroll \& Compliance Collect and verify employee timesheets and payroll information. Assist with payroll processing and payroll record management. Track licenses, permits, certifications, and compliance deadlines. Maintain compliance files and audit documentation. Support company compliance initiatives and recordkeeping requirements. Operations Support Prepare operational reports and performance tracking documents. Follow up with managers and departments on assigned tasks. Assist with inventory reports, invoices, and operational paperwork. Coordinate communication between departments and locations. Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned. Technology \& Systems Utilize Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and company software systems. Perform data entry and database maintenance. Maintain accurate records in company systems. Learn and utilize company\-approved productivity and workflow software, including MyZen. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Google Workspace. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. Preferred Associate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Human Resources, Management, or a related field. Previous experience in administrative support, office operations, payroll, HR, recruiting, or compliance. Experience supporting multiple departments and business functions. Requirements Must be able to work full\-time in our Dothan, Alabama office. Must be dependable, punctual, and professional. Must be comfortable working in a fast\-paced environment. Must be willing to learn company systems and procedures. Must have reliable transportation. Pay: Up to $14\.00 per hour Work Location: In person
