Job Summary:

The Registrar is responsible for accurately registering patients in the Emergency Department, ensuring all demographic and insurance information is collected and verified while delivering excellent customer service in a fast\-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Register patients promptly and accurately in the Emergency Department
  • Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information
  • Obtain necessary signatures and documentation for treatment and billing
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families during stressful situations
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all HIPAA regulations
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Handle multiple tasks in a fast\-paced, high\-volume environment
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous registration, clerical, or healthcare experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with data entry systems
  • Required Skills \& Competencies:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Additional Information:

This position is for ER Registrar Registration and is scheduled Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
