Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail\-oriented Assistant Clerk to join our administrative team. In this vital role, you will support various clerical and legal administrative functions, ensuring smooth office operations and accurate record management. Your energetic approach will help facilitate efficient workflows, assist with legal research and documentation, and provide excellent customer service to internal teams and external clients. Duties

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate filing systems for legal documents, correspondence, and case files
  • Assist with legal research related to litigation cases, statutes, and regulations to support attorneys and paralegals
  • Draft, review, and format legal documents, reports, and correspondence with precision and clarity
  • Support litigation activities by organizing case materials, preparing court filings, and tracking deadlines
  • Manage office supplies, coordinate appointments, and handle clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and mailing
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries from clients or internal staff professionally and promptly
  • Handle cash transactions accurately when necessary, including processing payments or reimbursements in accordance with office procedures
  • Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a legal setting as a paralegal or legal assistant is highly desirable
  • Strong research skills with the ability to locate relevant legal information efficiently
  • Proven experience in litigation support and legal drafting processes
  • Office experience demonstrating proficiency in word processing software such as Microsoft Word or similar programs
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for filing, data entry, and document management
  • Clerical experience including customer service, data handling, and administrative tasks
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast\-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
