Job Summary

We are seeking an organized Part Time to Full Time Personal Assistant to support a small painting company managing daily operations, scheduling, and some administrative tasks. This role offers an exciting opportunity to potentially grow into a full\-time position.

The job will mostly vary between creating proposals and job scopes, running miscellaneous errands throughout the city (delivering materials/ some tools to job sites) performing walk throughs of various apartments throughout NYC, organizing/ prepping a storage unit from time to time, meeting with workers to deliver materials, helping with preparation of apartments and packaging/ cataloging of personal objects prior to projects beginning.

We want someone who is flexible and capable of handling a variety of tasks, and can maintain a list of addresses of various job sites, knowing required steps for project completion and maintaining schedules.

Occasionally personal tasks like pet feeding (2 Cats) and other minor things but nothing crazy

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate projects using slack or google drive to create proposals, scopes of work, outline floor plans with paint schedules and scopes of work
  • Citi Bike is a top priority for getting around\- please be willing to use and operate a citi bike/ E\-Bike to navigate through the city quickly, transporting minor tools or materials to job sites
  • Maintain minor storage unit organization, occasionally unpack bags, re\-pack bags for specific projects, and assist with keeping a clean log of all paints and other materials within the storage unit.
  • Support project coordination efforts by tracking deadlines, preparing reports, and ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Relative proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel)
  • Strong communication skills including phone etiquette and customer service experience
  • Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast\-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly with professionalism
  • This position may begin a bit chaotic\- as a small company we are dipping our toes into the world of minor administration assisting, and want to grow together to create a role within the company that may seek to be much more in the future,.
