ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Home Health team. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient office operations. The Administrative Assistant plays a key role in maintaining accurate records, coordinating communications, and supporting the clinical and administrative staff under the direction of the Office Manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform general administrative tasks, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
- Maintain organized filing systems for patient records, and other office documents (electronic and paper).
- Monitor office supplies and place orders as needed to maintain inventory.
- Assist in onboarding and credentialing of clinical staff by organizing required documentation and keeping files up to date.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient and staff information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by Office Manager.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree or certification in office administration preferred).
- Minimum of one year of administrative experience in a healthcare or related office setting, specially with Medicaid and Medicare.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with data entry systems or EHRs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required.
