Duties
- Manage day\-to\-day bookkeeping activities including journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, and bank reconciliations using software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms
- Perform general ledger accounting and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including income statements, cash flow statements, and budget variance reports
- Conduct account reconciliation processes to verify the accuracy of account balances and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Assist with payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements to ensure regulatory compliance
- Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions through double entry bookkeeping and account analysis
- Support budgeting activities by monitoring expenses and providing insights for financial planning
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken or equivalent tools
- Strong understanding of GAAP standards and governmental accounting practices
- Experience with account reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger accounting
- Knowledge of financial concepts including debits \& credits, journal entries, double entry bookkeeping, and account analysis
- Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation and account analysis accurately under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with payroll processing, tax experience, accounts payable/receivable management, and budget monitoring
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in 10 key typing for data entry accuracy
- Strong communication skills for financial report writing and collaborating across teams

Pay: $75,226\.09 \- $88,487\.34 per year
