Supports the coordination and implementation of multiple research projects in the area of public and population health. Responsibilities will be varied by project and could include: collection of research data, research participant interviews, collection of data from medical records, establishment of processes and procedures, and budget monitoring. Position would be responsible for the successful implementation of study protocols.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
One year research experience.
Proficient with spreadsheets and database software programs.
Demonstrated organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.

Masters Degree.

Duties \& Responsibilities
Responsible for administrative management of all project activities including IRB and other compliance, and oversight of participant incentive programs.
Assists in the management of project budgets.
Recruitment, enrollment and retention of participant/patients in research studies.
Conducts research participant interviews and collection of research data from medical records.
Responsible for ensuring successful implementation of study protocols and managing student research assistants.
Entry of research data into project databases.
Cleaning, management, and basic analysis of small and large research data sets.
Assists with applications for grant funding.
Assists with the development of research abstracts, presentation, and manuscripts to include literature searches, development of tables and figures, drafting slides and posters, and assistant with manuscript development.
Some travel between Mt. Pleasant and Saginaw may be required.
