Job Summary
We are seeking a detail oriented, flexible, self motivated employee for customer service at an insurance brokers office. Administrative support to the owner is also part of the job.
Duties
- Answer phones and email with professionalism and warmth, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and customer support.
- Manage multi\-line phone systems efficiently, directing calls accurately and taking detailed messages when necessary.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems to support office operations and recordkeeping.
- Use Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace tools to prepare documents, emails, reports, and presentations with accuracy.
- Assist with calendar management, scheduling appointments, meetings, and coordinating events to optimize time management.
- Handle clerical duties such as proofreading documents, managing incoming mail, filing paperwork, and maintaining office supplies inventory.
- Provide administrative support to owner as a personal assistant when needed, including travel arrangements or task follow\-up.
- Proven experience in office administration or clerical roles with a strong background in customer service.
- Familiarity with multi\-line phone systems, front desk operations, and general office management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets), and basic computer literacy skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast\-paced environment.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to provide outstanding customer support.
- Experience in handling data entry tasks accurately while maintaining confidentiality is essential.
