We are seeking a motivated and detail\-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by providing exceptional support to both staff and clients. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem\-solving.
The job will be part time with reduced hours in winter due to less need for office coverage and less data entry work.
Duties
- Provide customer support by addressing inquiries from customers by phone and in person.
- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Assist remote employee with daily requests for files or information.
- Proper office etiquette.
- Ability to easily multitask.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Support accounting functions using QuickBooks for invoicing and financial record\-keeping.
- Previous experience in customer service or support roles is preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is preferred.
- Experience as a clerk or personal assistant will be beneficial.
- Proficient in using Microsoft office applications (excel, outlook, access) to enhance productivity.
