The expected ENTRY pay range for this position based on experience and equity within the Judicial Branch is $23\.25 to $25\.06\.
This position is Non\-Exempt under the FLSA.

About the Position
The Court Administration Lead provides leadership in the Family Department by guiding and directing staff that provide case processing, case flow management, and administrative support. This position will require travel to other court locations.

Position Qualifications

*Experience: Three (3\) years of legal, court, or administrative assistant\-level experience
OR
Combined Education and Experience Qualifications:
- Post\-secondary education may substitute for the experience on a year\-for\-year basis
- Applicants must have or obtain a valid Arizona Driver License and reliable vehicle by time of hire. Employees will be reimbursed for the use of a privately owned vehicle for work purposes at the current mileage reimbursement rate established by the U.S. General Services Administration.
- Bilingual skills in English/Spanish
- Knowledge of Family Court case flow and process
- Legal terminology and the legal requirements of processing court documents
- Court policies and procedures
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Establishing effective working relationships with others
- Lead and coordinate the work of subordinates
- Performs supervisory functions in the absence of a supervisor
- Oversees staff that have a high volume of phone calls and face\-to\-face customer contact
- Performs a variety of customer service/administrative duties, which may include answering questions from internal/external customers (in person, by phone, and via email) regarding case processing and status
- Schedules court hearings and administrative conferences
- Performs data entry in the Court's case management system and other computer applications
- Trains and provides guidance to department staff
- Reviews, drafts, and updates procedures
- Creates, reviews, maintains, and updates statistical reports and spreadsheets
- Initiates, attends, and drafts minutes of meetings
- Assists with case flow management by reviewing reports and researching cases
- Assists with the hiring, evaluation, performance of staff, and developing of performance management plans

Typically, successful candidates are hired at a salary rate up to the midpoint of the range, based on applicable experience, internal equity, and budgetary allowances.

The Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County participates in the State Retirement systems ASRS or PSPRS. As such, mandatory membership for all full\-time employees includes payroll deducted contributions consistent with each retirement system's requirements. The current contribution rate for ASRS is 12\.27% and the current contribution rate for PSPRS is 5\.84% and up for the defined contribution plan and 8\.82% for the defined benefit plan.
