Job Summary
Bay Area Family Law Center is seeking a reliable and highly organized Administrative Assistant \- Family Law Office to support the firm’s Office Manager in daily operations. This position plays an important role in keeping the law firm organized, on schedule, and running efficiently.
The Administrative Assistant will handle internal administrative processes, assist with client communication, maintain records in our case management system, and help coordinate office operations. The position also provides backup support to the receptionist when needed.
This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys organization, detailed work, and structured tasks.
Daily Responsibilities
- Update and maintain case records in MyCase
- Track case progress and internal task lists
- Follow up with clients for documents and forms
- Prepare invoices and send billing reminders
- Monitor outstanding balances and retainer replenishments
- Review time entries for completeness
- Upload and organize documents
- Assist with consultations and intake follow\-ups
- Prepare reports and spreadsheets for the Office Manager
- Maintain subscription accounts and office records
- Coordinate office vendors and supply orders
- Assist front desk with phones and scheduling when needed
- Highly organized and detail\-oriented

- Prior administrative or office experience
- Experience in a professional office (medical, legal, accounting, etc.)
- Experience with case management software a plus (training provided)
